Meet Okoth – Overcoming Barriers to Education

Meet Okoth, a young boy from Mayirinya Sub-County in Mayuge District, who faced significant challenges getting to school due to difficulties with mobility. For a long time, simply attending classes was a daily struggle.

When the team at Visionary African Child Organization (VACO) learned about Okoth’s situation, they took immediate action. In collaboration with donation, VACO provided Okoth with essential support, including bedding and a wheelchair.

With these life-changing resources, Okoth can now travel to school more easily and participate actively in his education. What was once a barrier is now a pathway—giving him the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
