VACO (Visionary African Child Organization) is a charitable organization, based on voluntary work, non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian!

VACO is located in Kamuli, Uganda and was started in March 2023 by Kirunda Jimmy!

What is VACO’s mission?

Nature of Organization

It’s a voluntary, non-profit making body, non-political and non-sectarian body, charitable
organization.

Objectives of the Organization

1. SOCIAL ECONOMIC PARTICIPATION:
   To promote and encourage women and youth participation in governance. Participation includes economic, climate change, livelihood and other social welfare activities. These activities allow them to respond to day-to-day challenges affecting their well being.
2. HEALTH PROMOTION:
   Guarantee increased realization of health rights to women and children. Guarantee access to quality
   health care services without marginalization. Prevent stigmatization and segregation.
3. EDUCATION:
   We aim to promote increased access to quality education for vulnerable children. Our focus is on enrollment, retention, completion, and technical skills for women and out-of-school youth.
4. LEGAL REDRESS:
   Increase access to justice for women and children. Focus on access to free legal aid services. This will help remove any form of abuse and social evils played against them and below. Tackle gaps in
   enforcement of laws against abuse of women and children in the community
