Today is the 17th of November, 2024. A team from Visionary African Child Organization visited one of our vulnerable families in Kyamuluya village, Kamuli District.
There lives an 85-year-old woman named Kirabira Monica. She is a lovely woman full of warmth and wisdom. She always fills lives with laughter. She is a proud grandmother of four young grandchildren and cherishes every moment spent with them.
Her hair is silver. Her hands bore the marks of time, yet they never stopped working in the garden. She tirelessly looked after her four young grandchildren.
Monica is old enough to provide Christmas items. However, the Visionary African Child Organization (VACO) team was heartfelt.
VACO volunteers decided to bring her a Christmas package. It included items like rice, bread, cooking oil, maize flour, tea leaves, sugar, bar soap, powdered soap, soda, and salt. She can use these for this Christmas Eve.
Sharing and Showing generosity and love to vulnerable families with children in VACO is one of our core values.
